Ben:

Harris knocked it out of the park. Trump and the Republicans are toast.

Elly:

Future President Harris knocked Trump out with a combination. at the Wisconsin rally, her first rally.

Ben:

Yes, she did.

Elly:

Yeah, buddy. Harris confidently strided to the podium, and after thanking others, including President Biden, she delivered an on target speech.

Ben:

The crowd was pandemonious.

Elly:

Mm hmm. She reminded us of the Democrats plan, and of the President's positive legacy, her career, and the contrast between the Democrats and the Republicans. In her career, she took on predators of all kinds,

Ben:

Abusers of women,

Elly:

Fraudsters that ripped off consumers

Ben:

and cheaters that broke the rules for their own gain.

Elly:

She continued, Believe me when I say, I know Donald Trump's type.

Ben:

The crowd erupted with cheers.

Elly:

Uh huh. The energy of the room was pumping with left ventricular power, oxygenating the crowd.

Ben:

Trump doesn't have a chance. No,

Elly:

he doesn't. See ya, Donnie. As she stated, she can proudly put her record up against his any day of the week. She took on a large for profit college that was scamming students. She emphatically stated, Donald Trump ran a for profit college that scammed students.

Ben:

The crowd went wild.

Elly:

I know, I heard.

Ben:

It was something.

Elly:

Finally, the Dems are reminding people of the decades of frauds that Don the Con and his family have committed against the American people, the taxpayers, and their partners.

Ben:

Don't forgett the scams, tax evasion, ripping off employees and contractors, embezzling monies from his own non profit, and six bankruptcies.

Elly:

You have to stop. My head is going to explode.

Ben:

Alright, another show then.

Elly:

Okay. She mentioned prosecuting cases of sexual abuse. Trump was found liable for committing sexual abuse. But he said he didn't know her. He promised. She reminded people that she took on the big California banks and prosecuted them for fraud. She then hesitated, the crowd cheering, Donald Trump was just found guilty of fraud on 34 counts. That's gotta really hurt.

Ben:

But according to Donny Boy, he didn't do it. Everyone on the planet is a liar but him. Lock him up.

Elly:

She went on reminding the audience that the campaign is not just about us versus Donald Trump, but about who we fight for.

Ben:

Loved that.

Elly:

Mm hmm. So unlike Fugu.

Ben:

Yes. Harris brought up the fact that Trump relies on billionaires and mega corporations and is trading access for campaign contributions. She mentioned the ass kissing meeting of Big Oil and Gas at Mar a Lago. And Trump makes promises to them for a billion dollars of campaign donations.

Elly:

Well the crowd booed to that, acknowledging their disapproval. In contrast, instead of making deals with the elite, VP Harris said that her campaign is running a people powered campaign. Harris smiled as she informed everyone that they had the best 24 hours of grassroots fund raising in presidential campaign history. 81 million dollars. She made clear that the campaign is about two different visions.

Ben:

Democrats focusing on people and the future.

Elly:

And the Republicans on themselves and the elite. she said her campaign will focus on getting ahead, not just getting by. The audience then burst into roars, burst cheering, laughter. They really loved that. And it's true, finally, finally, finally.

Ben:

She called for a future where no child has to grow up in poverty.

Elly:

Where every worker has the freedom to join a union.

Ben:

Where every person has affordable health care.

Elly:

Then there was more pandemonium that broke out. The people were jumping out of their seats, waving in approval.

Ben:

She talked about child care and paid family leave. A future where every senior can retire in dignity.

Elly:

I love that. Harris trumpeted, building up the middle class as a defining goal of my presidency Over the cheers, she said, we all know when our middle class is strong is when America is strong. The crowd was deafening. The noise that they made, the cheers, it was just deafening. Her forthrightness and determination pulsated through the audience.

Ben:

It did. Then she informed that Donald Trump wants to go backwards with his dystopian policies and the project 2025 agenda.

Elly:

Yeah, and she mocked, can you believe they put that thing in writing? And the crowd burst out laughing. She read Project 2025 and urged everyone to do the same. She continued as voices bellowed,

Ben:

She messaged what Trump wants to do. Tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations while letting working families foot the bill.

Elly:

In addition, Trump and the writers of Project 2025 want to end the Affordable Care Act.

Ben:

We'll have that information for you in two weeks, he said.

Elly:

Yeah, remember that? Yeah, in two weeks. In two weeks we'll have that out. Yeah, tomorrow. In two weeks we'll have that ready. In two weeks, tomorrow. No, next week we'll have that. They're working on it.

Ben:

Yeah, they're writing it right now.

Elly:

Yeah, he's an idiot. We all remember Trump spouted off that he would end the ACA and dismantle or make terrible changes. To social security. She added, Trump wants to take us back to the time when insurance companies had the power to deny people with preexisting conditions. The crowd was with her on this one, like everything she said, and she gave examples. So she hesitated for a long time. Emphatically, she tells us, we are not going back. The crowd shouted louder and louder, we won't go back. We won't go back.

Ben:

That's awesome.

Elly:

Yeah, they were shouting, we won't go back. The energy of the room, her eloquence. Ours is a fight for the future she said. A fight for freedom. She said generations before us led the fight for freedom. Her conclusion, Wisconsin, the baton is in our hands. She spoke of protecting our sacred freedom to vote, that every American can cast a ballot and be counted, freedom to live safe from gun violence, that she will pass red flag laws, universal background checks, and ban assault weapons. She announced that we believe in reproductive freedom and we'll stop Trump's extreme abortion bans because we trust women to make decisions about their own body and not have the government tell them what to do. V. P. Harris promised when Congress passes a law to restore reproductive freedoms as President of the United States, I will sign it into law. The audience thundered, stomped their feet, cheered.

Ben:

I thought the vibration would cause mass levitation.

Elly:

Yeah. Uh huh. That's what it felt like. Yep. VP Harris then posed a question to Wisconsin. What kind of country do we want to live in? A country of freedom, compassion, and the rule of law?

Ben:

or fear, chaos and hate?

Elly:

We have the power, she said.

Ben:

I love it.

Elly:

She gave the crowd an energized directive. Knock on doors, make phone calls, register voters. Do we believe in freedom, in opportunity, in the promise of America?

Ben:

I think the crowd did levitate at that point.

Elly:

I think so. She pumped us up. Are we ready to fight for it?

Ben:

Yes.

Elly:

She waved triumphantly. When we fight for it, we win. God bless you, she said smiling and confidently walked off the stage.

Ben:

Trump and the Republicans are toast. Oh yeah. VP Harris just kicked their asses with a combination of comparison, contrast, and meet me in the ring. Ha

Elly:

ha. Oh, yeah, she did. Welcome to America. Yeah, buddy.

Ben:

I think Democrats just won the presidency.

Elly:

I totally agree. Let's just start referring to her as the next president of the United States of America.

Ben:

The Republicans are so Scrood.

Elly:

Yeah, buddy.
