Ben:

Trump pardons Apparently the president cannot pardon somebody at a state level, right?

Elly:

No, only at a federal level

Ben:

right. So anybody that's screwed up in his recent past or in the near future, he's going to pardon their federal case.

Elly:

Case yeah, or commute it or someone who's already in jail or prison rather Yeah,

Ben:

so if they're convicted in a state level He can't pardon them,

Elly:

No, only at a federal level

Ben:

but you know, what

Elly:

what

Ben:

the governor can

Elly:

Yes, the governor can

Ben:

The governor can so think about this for a second. We start voting right we get let's say Trump by some crazy Atmospheric warp of time gets into the presidency and we get a bunch of Republican governors, a black hole, a bunch of Republican governors in let's say all 50 states, Now anybody that does anything wrong federally, he can basically pardon and anybody that does anything for the state and gets put in prison. His governors. Can pardon them. Yippee ki yay. So here we go. Where does this end?

Elly:

Infinity? To the never ending...

Ben:

This is why every vote is so important. Every. Single vote.

Elly:

Yes, Congress is very important. Representatives, Senators. Governors. Governors. School, even school officials. School boards. Local officials. Judges. Yep. Local judges.

Ben:

They're doing book bans and all kinds of, I mean it's just, it's craziness. Yeah. It's craziness. that's all I have to say.

Elly:

You know, regarding book bans the book about the two young women who got daddy drunk and had sex with him to bear his seed?

Ben:

Oh, is that what it was? Seeds, now. I'm gonna plant some seeds.

Elly:

Jack and the Beanstalk.

Ben:

they lured him. They, they lured him. Lured. Lured. Lured. Lured him. Lured. They lured him. Lured him.

Ethan:

The text in the Bible reads that they seduced their father. The sisters supposedly got him drunk and seduced him. Even then, men flipped the responsability on women, evading accountability for their actions, even when assaulting their own daughters. In addition, assault victims are accused of teasing men and causing their own harm. It's not a woman's fault that a man can't control his urges, or desire to dominate. Today men use the same gas lighting techniques against women that were written in the Bible, written by men! Moreover, the tools used to assault women today were utilised in Biblical times as well, including. drinks. and drugs!

Elly:

That's sick and disgusting

Ben:

that book needs to be banned.

Elly:

Mm hmm.

Ben:

Watch what you hope for.

Elly:

It's an abomination you start banning books. It has no end Every book in the world would be banned Think about that art pieces, you know Any kind of art that has frontal nudity like David, The Mona Lisa, they don't like her smile. That smirk just looks a little too condescending. She's always watching me. Possessed. She's staring.

Ben:

Well, if you're in the eighth grade, I guess that kind of shit bothers you. Bitch, quit looking at me. Trump pardons

Elly:

Trump pardoned, Bannon, Stone, Manafort, and Flynn, all worked for him. Manafort was involved in the Russia thing, as well as Flynn and Stone. Arpaio was given, A pardon, Kushner's dad was pardoned for theft and a lot of other people who were scamming the government were pardoned by Trump.

Ben:

That's right. That's right. I remember that. Kushner's dad. There you go. Anybody else on the list?

Elly:

Meadows, uh, he got immunity.

Ethan:

For those of you that are interested in Trump's new indictment and Meadows, listen up Days ago in August, jack smith wrote in his new indictment regarding Trump's former white house chief of staff Mark Meadows, that his testimony is not covered under the supremes recent ruling regarding presidential immunity. The new indictment emphasizes that Meadows handled"private" and"Campaign-related" logistics to show that the interactions could not be considered core presidential acts under the Supreme Court's July 1 presidential immunity ruling. so the ruling does not apply. Jogging your memory, In October 2023 Meadows secured an immunity deal with special counsel Jack Smith in order to testify before a grand jury. Meadows has provided lengthy and in-depth testimony several times in the past year before the grand jury, as well as providing prosecutors with reams of documents, including text messages. In the recent indictment all of the evidence against Trump when conspiring with his justice department and White House minions regarding the attempted coup, obstruction, election fraud, and other crimes, has been tossed, when that evidence and testimony was or is from Trump's advisors, Justice Department or personnel, and duties defined as core or performed in a presidential capacity. Meadows and Trump are hoping that down the road, Trump's supremes will rule against the government and for Trump. So you see, voting matters. Look at the mess that Trump's appointed bias and crooked supremes have made of our justice system. And pay attention that Trump, the Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society, other interconnected organizasions and the supremes and federal judges could destroy our constitution, our rights and freedoms, wages and safety standards, environment and the economy. It will be a dystopian society and a theocracy, atleast until the billionares start removing clergy. Do yourself a favor and vote for Kama la Harris, Tim Walz and every democrat that adheres to the ideology of all things for the people while making America an even greater nation.

Elly:

Anyway, I'm done here. I need a cold one.

Ben:

I'll join you.

Elly:

And we all know this too, I don't have to tell ya, if you live in a red state or district, double check like three times. Tell everyone, everyone, to vote blue across the board. Yes. If you're going to be absent, make sure you still vote. Vote by mail. If you're going to be at work, schedule a day off. Tell your friends to schedule a day off right now so you can vote. Don't wait. Drive together. Pack your SUV. Ride the bus. Vote blue down the ticket so we can get something done from presidents, Congress, and local politicians. Vote Democrat. Save us from the Uber religious, right? Billionaires and big business elites that have already removed 50 years of progress. Save us from bias. Big money. Supreme court justices paid off.
